Stagbars..

Usually I use Crufts to stock up the necessities such as wormer, frontline , thornit and this year was no exception. Last year we bought a couple years supply of Drontal so this year we were stocking up on Frontline & Panacur suspension.

I also bought some Stagbars. Rex, Diesel and Blaze are pretty serious chewers. There was a time when I could buy pressed rawhide, give it to the dogs and there would still be some a few days later. Not any more. If I give them rawhide then they sit and demolish it until its either finished, or (in the case of the large Mishka sized ones) I take it off them. The same can be said for raw knucklebones although the consumption does take a bit longer.

Although I knew antler was made of bone I was quite surprised it didn’t smell at all. All the dogs have been having a good chew, although Inca and Pip waited until someone else had chewed it for a bit. One piece is already down to a few inches but they have all been chewing mainly on that one since Friday and it has lasted for hours and hours.
